Season prep at home

Image
The boat being ashore in a shed, 700 miles away in N Germany, is a new experience. Normally we'd sit in the cockpit and make lists of things to do, and perhaps even start a few before lifting out for the spring rituals. This time we sit warmly at home and make lists out of thin air - don't they look neat. That said it has been quite restful all winter, not nipping down to the marina to check warps before a blow, not feeling guilty about not going or not doing any jobs. It will be intense when we arrive on Fehmarn in 10 days time, but we can take it. The rough plan this year is cruise up east coast of Sweden, target Stockholm and stretch target Helsinki via Aaland, and come back the same way back to Fehmarn  again for the winter. This will be mid May to early Sep with 2 returns to UK for family events and to keep up with the grandson. Could be 12 weeks on boat in total. I wonder what will really happen?!
